When to Book a
Puncture Repair

A puncture does not always mean you need a new tyre. If the damage is suitable for repair, fixing it promptly may help you keep using the tyre safely and avoid the cost of an unnecessary replacement.

When to book a puncture repair:

When a tyre is losing pressure
When you find a nail or screw in the tyre
When debris is lodged in the tread
When the tyre pressure warning light is on
When one tyre needs topping up more
When you hear air escaping from the tyre
As soon as possible after a puncture

Avoid removing an object from the tyre yourself, as it may be slowing the air loss. The tyre will need to be removed from the wheel and inspected before we can confirm whether it is safe to repair.
